This week in Social Studies we'll start by presenting our Ancient Greek Culture Posters that students spent most of last week researching and creating. Those presentations will be finished by Tuesday. We'll then be working on an in depth study of Alexander the Great including a video, some Internet research and discussions. Students will then be reading two articles about Alexander and writing a paper where they'll take a position on the question of whether Alexander deserves the title: "the Great."
This paper will be due on Friday. On Tuesday, students will also have an assignment due regarding some research they're doing on the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and their connections to the Greeks.
