ELA Message- Remote Learning

Dear Families,
For 6th Grade ELA, please plan to check Google Classroom and your student email daily.  We have a new section in Google Classroom called “Remote Learning Daily Lessons”. Your information about what you should work on each day will be listed there.  Work that is due should be submitted through Google Classroom. We will also be taking daily attendance through Google Classroom- check for the section called “Remote Learning Daily Attendance”.  Students will be marked absent for days they are not participating. If students are too ill to work or will be away on a trip (except during spring break), please call the office to let them know, just like you would on a normal school day.  If you have questions and need to contact your ELA teacher, please note that there are “office hours” of 9-10am and 4-5pm on weekdays (except during spring break). You may also send us an email at any time and we will respond as quickly as possible.
We will be updating you as things change during this time of uncertainty.  We will be flexible and work with you to address any roadblocks you experience.  Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work together to continue your child’s learning experience in a meaningful way during the coming weeks.

Your partners in learning,
Mrs. Rogness
Ms. Hecht

Mrs. Walther
