Social Studies News Week of: May 8th

This week in Social Studies we are finishing up our Ancient Rome Unit.  We'll be having our Unit Test on Thursday of this week.  Students will get a study guide on Tuesday to help them focus their studying.  All assignments from the unit, as well as journal questions and Key Terms should be in their Social Studies notebooks.

The students did a great job on their Julius Caesar Trial Simulation and Jury Presentations over the course of the last couple of weeks.

Other than reviewing for this week's test, the only other assignment due this week is:

Math News Week of May 8th

This week we will wrap up our unit on probability. In class, we have been doing several experiments to test and compare the theoretical probability (what we expect to happen) with the experimental probability (what happens when we do the experiment). Our Chapter 12 test will be on Wednesday of this week. After the test, we will start reviewing some of the concepts we have covered throughout the school year.
