Social Studies News Week of: May 23rd
This week in Social Studies we'll be continuing our unit on the Middle East. Students will be tracing some of the history of the current conflicts in the that region all the way back to Ancient times. The following assignments will be due this week:

Social Studies News Week of: May 16th
This week's Social Studies test on our Rome unit has been moved to Tuesday 5/17. We'll be reviewing for that test on Monday. Students went home on Friday with a study guide for the test.
The rest of the week will be spent introducing and starting our last unit of the year which is on the Middle East--certainly an important topic based on the large number of current events that happen in that region of the world.

**Since we have our final STAR assessment of the year on Wednesday, it is really important to help your child get to bed early the night before and have something for breakfast that day so that they are able to do their best on the test! Thanks for your support with this!
