Forward Testing- Headphones Needed

As you probably already know, the middle school will be taking the Forward Exam this Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.  Please remind your child to get plenty of sleep, eat a balanced breakfast, and arrive to school on time!  

Also, students will need headphones or earbuds (inexpensive ones work great- they need to have a plug.  Bluetooth ones are not supported).  The school has a few available for students, but we are counting on students to bring their own if at all possible.  They will be needed for Wednesday morning.  Thanks for your support to make testing a success!

*Forward Exam testing will be taking place on Tuesday- Thursday, April 16-18.  Students should be sure to get plenty of sleep and eat a balanced breakfast to set themselves up for success on those days!  It is also very important for students to arrive at school on time, especially for testing days!

Book Club Books- Daily Homework

In ELA, students received a new book club book in class today.  They are reading this book with a small group in class.  They will need to finish the book by April 23rd.  This will mean that most students will need to do some of the reading as homework.  Please check with your child about the progress they are making on their book.  They should have a reading plan that they made with their group, so helping them keep track of that plan would be a great idea.  They are responsible for their own book, so it needs to go home and back to school each day.  There are not extra copies in the classroom for them to use if they forget the book at home.  Thank you for your support!
