Social Studies News Week of: Feb. 20th

This week in Social Studies we're finishing up our first unit of the semester--"The 1st Civilizations & Mesopotamia."  Students are working on a poster project in which they're investigating an empire that were among the first in the Fertile Crescent region.  At this point, we've gotten a few grades in the grade book so feel free to check grades on Infinite Campus.  Most assignments have only given students an opportunity to reach "Proficient" so far.

We'll be having our first unit test on Friday!  The unit test will give students an opportunity to reach Advanced.  Students have notes and assignments attached right in their social studies notebooks and they will get a study guide on Wednesday to help them study!
