Math News ~Week of March 2nd

I can´t believe that it is already March! 6th grade math students have been working hard on geometry concepts, and we will continue to practice finding area, volume and surface area this week. 

Monday: Review and Quiz

Tuesday: Perimeter of Composite Figures

• Homework: Pg. 556 #1, 3, 5, 8, 9, 12, 19, 22

Wednesday: Area of Composite Figures

• Homework: Pg. 563 #1, 2, 3, 7, 8, 12, 18, 25

Thursday: Volume of Rectangular Prisms

• Pg. 572 #1-11 (odd), 12, 16 ,17, 24, 27

Friday: Surface Area of Rectangular Prisms

• Pg. 579 #5, 8, 10, 12, 14-17, 19
