English Language Arts News February 2-6
This week in class we will read a variety of Greek myths, learn vocabulary words, analyze an article, and begin reading The Lightning Thief.Assignments Due this Week:
Daily Homework: Read nightly (monthly one pager book, quarterly novel, or other book if done with the previous two options)
Monday: Mythology stations (done in class)
Tuesday: Finish mythology stations, learn first 10 vocab terms, learn new one pager expectations
Wednesday: Read "What is a Myth?" article and create "twitter post" summary, learn next 10 vocab terms (done in class)
Thursday: Learn next 10 vocab terms, check out Lightning Thief books, listen to audio recording of first chapter
Friday: Week 2 paragraph due (done in class), Initial reading response/prediction assignment on Google classroom (done in class)
