Social Studies News Week of: May31st

This week in Social Studies, we'll be wrapping up our Middle East unit with a couple of assignments and then getting ready for our final unit test of the year, which will be on Monday, 6/6.  Assignments due this week will be:
                       * Venn Diagram (Ch. 25 Sec. 2)--due on Wed.
                       * Cause & Effect (Ch. 25 Sec. 3)--due on Thurs.

**Remind students to make sure all late work is turned in!

Social Studies News Week of: May 23rd

This week in Social Studies we'll be continuing our unit on the Middle East.  Students will be tracing some of the history of the current conflicts in the that region all the way back to Ancient times.  The following assignments will be due this week:

Mon.--Ch. 9 Sec. 2 Assignment due
Tues.--Middle East Google Map assignment due  (we'll do this in class today)
Wed.--Using Historical Maps Assignment due (completed in class on Mon, Tue and Wed)
Thurs.--Ch. 25 Sec. 1 Assignment due

Art Update

I hope you got to enjoy the art displayed during the spring band and choir concert! It's exciting for the students to be able to show their work to their friends and families!

Please continue to check Infinite Campus for grade and assignment updates. I will share with students what their current grade is and any missing work this week.

Math News Week of May 16th

This week we will continue to review some of the various concepts we have learned about this year in math. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday we will be looking at different algebra and geometry topics. Our spring math STAR test will be on Thursday. Here are the upcoming assignments for the week.
