Earth Day T-Shirt Orders

The High School conservation club is again promoting the purchase of Earth Day shirts for 2020. This year happens to be the 50th anniversary of the first Earth Day. We are hoping for at least 100 students and teachers to buy and wear these "Earth Day" shirts on Wednesday, April 22nd.

The shirts are reasonably priced ($8.00 each) and we think they look good (see image above).
The sizes are children: sm, md, lg and adult: sm, md, lg, xl, 2xl, 3xl, 4xl, and 5xl
If writing a check - make it out to PHS Conservation Club

6th grade students and families can place an order by submitting it to Mrs. Rogness (include name - number of shirts - sizes of shirts - and money) The deadline for this year's campaign is Friday, February 28th.

Thank you for any help you may offer with respect to this year's Earth Day t-shirt campaign.

Guest author, Bob Tomlinson

The 6th graders enjoyed hearing from local author Bob Tomlinson last week about his passion for writing.  Bob is a former physical education teacher here at Poynette, and he is the current head coach for the softball team.  He was also the sports editor for many years for the Poynette Press and was the creator of the Fastpitch Chronicle Newspaper that covered softball news on a global scale.  Many students were surprised to hear about how much writing Bob does and they enjoyed hearing some of his stories.  You can read some of his work here:
