Science News Week of Sept. 5

Hello! Welcome to 6th Grade Science! I am looking forward to a great year! We will be doing lots of activities and projects throughout the year that cover the concepts of Physical Science. We will be doing units that cover Technology and Engineering, Energy, Chemistry, Waves, and Plants.

Tuesday: Team Challenge, Introduction to Science Poster Project in class

Wednesday: Team Challenge, Science Poster Project work time and presentations

Thursday: Lab Safety Activities

Friday: Measurement Activities, Metric System Article Analysis- DUE Tuesday 9/12

Welcome to 6th Grade ELA! Sept. 4-8

As we begin a new school year, I will share a little bit about what will be happening during week 1.  Students should plan to be reading at home every night as their homework for ELA!  

Monday: No School
Tuesday: Classroom procedures, IMC check out, reader's notebook
Wednesday: Silent reading procedures, Puma Paragraph
Thursday: Theme, Text Evidence
Friday: STAR Revision, Classroom procedures
