Social Studies News Week of: March 13th

This week in Social Studies we're finishing our unit on Ancient Egypt.  Students did very well on the "Roving Reporters" skits--definitely a lot of creativity shown!  We're looking at having our end-of-unit test on Thursday.  Students received a review sheet to help them study today in class.

We'll then be introducing our next unit which will be on Ancient Greece.

Math News Week of March 13

Next week, we will continue to learn about volume and surface area of various 3-dimensional figures. We will also be learning more about the number pi on Tuesday, which is Pi Day! Here is a list of our upcoming assignments.

Social Studies News Week of: Mar. 6th

This week in Social Studies we're continuing to work on our "Roving Reporters" project in which students are researching a topic related to our unit on Ancient Egypt.  They will then be preparing a script in which they will "interview" a character related to their topics.  We'll be presenting these on Wed., Thurs., and Friday this week.  Students will also have a chance to take a virtual tour through Egypt to see some of the sights we're learning about through Google Maps towards the end of the week.
